Ms. Vicherka Yun, a home-based worker from Battambang Province, Cambodia, and an Executive Committee member of HomeNet Southeast Asia (HNSEA), attended the WIEGO School’s Workers’ Education for Workers’ Power – Training of Trainers (ToT) in Ahmedabad, India, from 1–5 September 2025.

She shared with the other HNSEA Executive Committee members that she gained significant insights from the training, particularly on how worker education serves as a tool for collective action and advances the rights of informal economy workers.

She also developed a deeper understanding of building solidarity across countries, as participants from diverse backgrounds came together to strengthen the informal workers’ movement. These learnings will support her efforts in educating informal economy workers in Cambodia and the region.

On behalf of HomeNet Cambodia and HomeNet Southeast Asia, she expressed gratitude to the WIEGO School and SEWA for hosting the training course.
