We, the representatives of organizations and networks of home-based workers from five regions- Africa, East Europe and Central Asia, Latin America, South Asia and South East Asia- met in Stockholm on 21-22 May 2018. In the meeting we affirmed the need for home-based workers to have their own international network (e.g. “HomeNet International”) in order to build unity and solidarity around common issues and challenges; to raise visibility and provide home-based workers with a strong voice on global platforms, and to share knowledge and experiences. We therefore committed ourselves to working towards the formation of an international network of home-based workers. (Stockholm Declaration, May 2018)
