Our specialized committees strengthen our governance and impact. They provide focused attention to ensure accountability, inclusiveness, and gender equality across all our work. Together, they help guide strategic decisions and advance our objectives with integrity and equity.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee is a delegated function-based structure of the HNI’s supreme governing body, the Executive Committee, which oversees all financial management affairs of the Organization in accordance with relevant laws, provisions of HNI Constitution and Policies.

Gender Committee

The Gender Committee addresses discrimination, gender-based violence, and inequities affecting women, children, and adolescents, with a focus on women home-based workers, who form the majority of HNI members. It reviews programs, conducts research, and develops policies, tools, and campaigns to raise awareness and promote change.

Membership Committee

The HNI Membership Committee fosters a diverse, welcoming, and inclusive environment to maintain a strong and active membership base. It promotes affiliate participation in governance and decision-making and develops strategies to ensure ongoing member engagement, satisfaction, and organizational growth.
