On the initiative of the Tourism Department of the Turkistan Region Akimat, the official opening ceremony of the international folk crafts exhibition “TURKISTAN WORLD CRAFT FEST-2025” was held in the city of Turkistan. As part of the exhibition-forum, more than 100 foreign artisans gathered to showcase unique examples of folk crafts to art enthusiasts.
The festival also featured an international forum on folk crafts under the theme: “The Heritage of Turkistan Crafts and the Future of Tourism,” which attracted a large number of participants.
The forum aimed to create a platform for exchanging experience between local and international masters of folk crafts, promote folk craft products on the global stage, and foster the development of new forms of cooperation. This significant event brought together over 100 foreign guests, representatives of various organizations, and artisans.
Forum participants highlighted the importance of preserving and developing folk crafts and emphasized the goal of transforming Turkistan into a major international tourist center.
