About the session
The panel will shine a spotlight on workers who remain largely invisible in due diligence efforts, including homeworkers and waste pickers. The discussion will explore how due diligence can move beyond the factory floor, with strategies to identify informal economy workers, adapt approaches to informal settings, and strengthen protections and working conditions through laws and policy frameworks.
