On 10 December 2020, Home Based Workers Network-Kenya officially launched in Nakuru, Kenya. Home-based workers from across Kenya, as well as local and national government officials, journalists, and allies from around the world, joined this historic event.

The newly formed HomeNet Kenya brings together thousands of workers to call for the recognition of their rights as workers and recognition of their contributions to the local and national economy.
HomeNet Kenya is part of the growing global movement of home-based workers, HomeNet International.
