Janhavi Dave

Janhavi Dave is the International Coordinator of HomeNet International. She has worked with women workers in the informal economy for over 15 years. Her expertise lies in organising and building sustainable membership-based organisations of informal economy women workers. She started her career with SEWA Bharat recruiting members for the union and initiated thrift and credit cooperatives for informal economy women workers. She went on to work with SEWA and headed a project that worked in 12 cities of India making the urban spaces inclusive for women workers in the informal economy. She also briefly worked with WIEGO before starting her work with HomeNet South Asia. She was the Regional Coordinator of HomeNet South Asia for over five years, and then was nominated to join HomeNet International as their first International Coordinator. Janhavi is on the board of Business, Employment and Enterprise Support (BEES) Network, a South Asian network providing livelihood support to informal economy women workers. She is also a recipient of the Collective Social Innovations Award from the Schwab Foundation, as a co-leader of WIEGO. Janhavi has an undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the Delhi University, India and a Masters degree in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai, India.

Laura Revelo

Communications & Media Officer Laura Revelo is HomeNet International's Communications Officer (Part-time Consultant). She has more than 15 years of experience in journalism, public relations and broadcasting production. She previously worked for communications agencies such as VeraContent and Comunicación Corporativa Ketchum, as well as for media outlets such as CNN en Español. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications & Political Science from Loyola University New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A and a Masters in Media Management from the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain.

Eduardo Derrico

Digital Communications OfficerOriginally from Brazil, but currently living in Paris, Eduardo holds a double Bachelor Degree in Business and Marketing and has more than 10 years of experience in digital marketing. After working with multinational companies and founding his own company in Brazil, he shifted his path and now he has been working with and supporting workers in the informal economy for almost 3 years.

Verónica Robledo

Communications Support Officer She has more than 15 years of experience in the translation industry. She previously worked for The Boston Consulting Group and for translation agencies such as Translation Back Office, Stillman, SumaLatam, Clear Words Translations and Ocean Translations. Verónica is an English<>Spanish National Sworn Translator graduated from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina.

Srujana Banala

Finance Coordinator She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 3 candidate and holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. She has over 8 years of experience with ICICI Bank Ltd, Hyderabad, India. She worked in banking operations, process reengineering, regulatory compliance, business development and revenue management areas of Consumer Banking.

Sarbani Kattel

Programme Coordinator Based out of Kathmandu, Nepal, she has over 10 years of experience working in the research and project management field. She previously worked for HomeNet South Asia managing projects that focused on working conditions of homeworkers in the supply chains and home-based workers organizing for economic empowerment. She holds a PhD degree from Central Department of Public Administration, Tribhuvan University, Nepal and a Master’s Degree on Public Policy and Governance from North South University, Bangladesh.

Kripa Awale

Administrative Officer Based in Kathmandu, Nepal, she has more than 10 years of working experience in national and international organisations, including the service sector, educational institutions, and social clubs. She has an MSc in International Tourism and an MBA in Business Administration degree from the University of Wales Institute, UK. She is also an active member of Toastmasters International District 41.
