HomeNet International, along with global networks, participated in the 109th Session of the International Labour Conference. During the first round of negotiations in June, the recurrent discussion on social protection and the impact of COVID-19 dominated the negotiations. The second segment of the Conference took place from 25 November to 11 December and included a general discussion on Inequalities and the world of work. The points for discussion intend to understand inequalities between and within countries and the economic and social implications.

Global Networks Position Papers

HNI has worked with our sister organizations, StreetNet International, International Federation of Domestic Workers (IDWF), Global Alliance of Waste Pickers, SEWA and WIEGO on a common position paper in preparation for the past and upcoming segment of the ILC.
